Awesome game for parties, family reunions, or general get togethersThis is a fun game and I love that so many people can play. Its for 7+ people but it's a little difficult to navigate for larger groups (there's a warning about that). My 11 and 14 year old love playing, but it's fun for adults too. It came with a small zippered pouch which I love for protecting the cards. We got this one and another similar game and really enjoy playing them both.Excellent game. Very easy to play with small or large group. People quickly get into it. Very compact.Better then I expected it has many more roles to play as. Im gonna enjoy this game.The first round or two can be a bit confusing, as can some of the "extra" roles. Basically, players draw cards with a role/character on them. The default is civilian. There is a moderator and everyone else puts their head down and one by one, all the other characters are called and perform some sort of act (selecting someone to save, vote someone out, ask the moderator if one person is the "mafia", etc.). The idea is that each round, one character gets eliminated (unless some of the twists in the game prevent it) and the rest have to guess "who dunnit". Then heads down and it starts again until either you only have players with mafia cards left (or the majority mafia depending upon the number of players) or the mafia get eliminated. Once you get into the swing of things it can go pretty quickly and gets to be a lot of fun. There are quite a number of "extra" characters who have different roles such as undoing an action, or pretending to be mafia when they are not, and all sorts of other things. If you have a large number of players, adding these in can change things up quite a bit.It was a great game to play with family at the beach as it didn't require any equipment or special skills, all ages (I'd say 6+) can play, it moves fairly quickly (you aren't sitting around a game board for hours), and the number playing is flexible. There aren't a lot of games that can be played with 14 people, ages 6 to senior citizen.This game is a lot of fun and super easy to play! We played it with 5 people the first time and had each of the 4 players (minus the moderator) play two cards each and it was pretty cool and made for some very interesting rounds, especially if one person ends up being the mafia and the doctor or detective! Hahaha! We played it a few different ways and with a couple different number of people each time. This game is even fun to play while camping and sitting around the campfire :-) It's easy to play over and over again and still be entertained and have a lot of fun! Each round goes pretty quick, but the more people you have playing the longer each play can last.My teens LOVE this game.Make sure whoever will be the moderator of the game knows the rules because the game will run much more smoothly! It's a fun game full of lying to your friends in family in hopes of making it out alive. Every time I brought this game out for events everyone had a great time! It came fairly quickly as well! It definitely would be something I'd gift someone if I knew they hosted a lot of events.We always play games on Christmas day. This was so much fun. Easy and quick to learn. We were six playing, would imagine the more players the better. Really glad I purchased.I got this as a little gift for a friend, the presentation is poor it's just a few cards in a black sack. pretty boring to play and I was embarrassed to give it as a gift. Not worth the £10.Very small, bit cheap. Is there an app to go with it? Portable and good drawings. Not had enough people to play it yet.Great pack of cards with easy rules to follow. Its gone down a treat with my family whilst we have played. Absolutely awesome conditions and delivery was good and not too late.I love the game and we kept playing without cards. This deck has roles we don't usually play with so it's actually quite different from your usual experience (the more the merrier thus being able to use complex roles)
