The puzzle is very well built, feels solid, and turns very well. However, there are definitely a few things to be aware of in order to maximize your enjoyment of this product.Likely the very first thing you will notice after slipping the item out of its packaging is that it feels quite greasy from lubricant, which is perfectly fine and can be wiped up easily. As the puzzle is broken in, the greasiness will go away.Next in order of complexity, if your puzzle arrives feeling like the turning is a bit tight, you will want to loosen the tensions. It took me a little bit to figure out how to do this, but what you'll need to do is remove the center caps by prying them up from their edges (I tried to do it from the corners at first, but this does not really work because you have to get at the divot inside). Turning the screws can be extraordinarily difficult, and the longer the screwdriver you use, the better the torque you'll get. Personally, what I did was loosened each screw all the way as far as it would go and then screwed each one in by fifteen half turns, just so I could keep everything consistent. It's up to you how exactly much you want to adjust the screws, but be careful that you don't set them too loose, as you may have pieces pop out that way while solvingThe third issue is arguably the most infuriating and has already been mentioned by plenty of other people on here: The sticker quality sucks. Replacing the stickers with higher-quality ones on this puzzle is absolutely mandatory (as in, you have no choice if you care at all about the stickers). As shown in my photograph above, the biggest culprits are the very small wedge-shaped pieces. After only owning the puzzle for some days, the corners of many of mine have begun peeling up, and it's rather disconcerting to brush up against them while solving. I'm not removing stars from my rating for this only because I was going to resticker the puzzle with my preferred colors anyway. I would recommend buying stickers from The Cube Specialists, as that is the only place I know of that offers gigaminx stickers. As a whole, although there is some work required to set this puzzle up, it is very enjoyable for providing a longer solve to really sink your teeth into and is well worth the effort.Update: I finally got around to finishing the restickering job that I had started months ago and have added an image of the result as seen from one side. (I'll be making a YouTube video soon that can easily be found if anyone wants to see what all the sides look like.) I ended up making custom stickers for four of the sides using holographic vinyl. If anyone is interested to learn how I did it, feel free to comment on this review to let me know. Otherwise, if no one shows any interest, then I don't want to lose my time writing a description that no one will read.So pleasantly surprised by this cube. Many ppl talk about the sticker quality. I have solved mine 6 times, no stickers have fallen off. There are 3 that are starting to peel. I'll replace or glue in the future but right now the stickers are not an issue. As expected out of the box the turning was tight and uneven tensions. It is not uncommon to buy a new cube & need to make adjustments. I loosened the spring tensions, added several drops of Cubicle DNM-37 lube and now find the turning to feel smooth and comfortable. These 50+ year young hands manage w/o feeling pain or fatigue.I highly recommend this cube. It's a good looking cube, well worth the money and a satisfying solve. If you enjoy the megaminx and 4x4 & up cubes You'll enjoy this.Namaste.I've been obsessed with puzzles like this for decades and finally convinced myself to get it. It is fantastic! It's mechanical very finicky to actually turn the sides and you have to be very careful. It is quite cumbersome but that's pretty much the nature of toys like this. all in all it feels relatively robust structurally, but I wouldn't play with it every single day. this is definitely an occasional thing the more you use it the more it will begin to weaken. the stickers are also difficult to maintain they are pretty easy to accidentally peal off but again, that's kinda the nature of toys like the with tiny little sections. The maker does provide extra stickers though so you can replace or customize as you like.Great product I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a gigaminx. Stickering job isn’t done that well, but it comes with a new set of stickers so you can do it right. It is not stickerless. It comes with colored stickers. The reason I bought it is because it was suppose to be stickerlessStickerless, when you get a chance, please? It completes his cube collectionGreat puzzle. Stickers are already starting to peel but that happens with all these puzzles unless they are stickerless and far more expensive. This is a good puzzle for the money.
